Objectives:
- to give students knowledge concerning environmental management and practical usage the methods of sustainable development and environmental and bio-diversity protection;
- to acquaintance students with interaction between economy and environment; with economic importance of bio-diversity.
Learning Outcomes:
To know:
- the main peculiarities of social, economic and environmental development of territory based on the ideas of modern environmental science, including sustainable development principle;
- the principles of environmental monitoring and integrated pollution control at the different management al level;
- a local, regional and global environmental problems and possible ways for decision;
- the methods of natural resources estimation.
To be able:
- to use of knowledge in the field of environmental management;
- to apply the methods of environmental impact assessment Master have to demonstrate an ability and readiness to identify the key problems of interaction between society and the environment.
Assessment Methods:
Student’s skills in this subject will be evaluated by means of presentations in the seminars, written tests and final examination.
