Objectives:

- to develop knowledge and skills of intellectual property strategic management, to develop understanding of the basic principles and concepts of intellectual property, to get knowledge and skills of intellectual property assessment, to develop understanding of the legislation in the sphere of intellectual property.

Learning Outcomes:

Know:

- basic principles and concepts of intellectual property;

- basics of legislation in the sphere of intellectual property;

- basic stages of intellectual property assessment;

- basic documents in the sphere of intellectual property;

- basic models of use of intellectual property as organization’s intangible assets.

Be able to:

- use listed knowledge in exploratory activity;

- use listed knowledge in professional activity which requires the use of intellectual property;

- make draft documents in the sphere of intellectual property (treaties, agreements, etc.);

- set the goals of correct use of intellectual property during the process of technology commercialization.
