In the Foundation Programme, you will be able to familiarize with a peculiarities of studying in English, aspects of intercultural communication and adjust to a new style of learning. The intensive education and training that you will receive during this programme will make you eligible for your chosen bachelor or master programme. It will help you be able to ‘hit the ground running’ and get the most out of your university education.

The course offers an overview how effectively switch from native language classes into English taught program – especially when you are planning to study abroad. In this course, you will be able to familiarize yourself with a peculiarities of studying in English, aspects of intercultural communication and adjust to a new style of learning.

Mathematics and statistics
The course offers an overview of key mathematical methods and statistical concepts frequently applied to economics, management, finance and related areas. Topics include: an overview of arithmetic, algebra and calculus; insight into concepts of probability; an introduction to financial mathematics; basic knowledge of how to summarise, analyse and interpret data and an introduction to modelling the linear relationships.

Economics
The course offers a broad overview of the key economic concepts and their applications to everyday situations and current economic affairs. Course topics include: an introduction to the nature and scope of economics; competitive markets; market failure and government intervention; managing the economy; development and sustainability and the recent financial and economic crisis.

ASSESSMENT
Your progress will be assessed throughout the Foundation Programme using written assignments, presentations and exams. You can only begin with your bachelor or master programme once you have passed the entire Foundation Programme successfully. As it happens, our students have a high success rate - over 75% of them advance to the bachelor or master programme of their choice.
FINAL OUTCOME
Once you have successfully passed the programme, you will be eligible for the bachelor or master programme we prepared you for.
Please note that some bachelor or master programmes still require an additional application after graduating from the Foundation Programme. As part of the Foundation Programme, we will also assist you in this application procedure.
