Main Objectives
Main goals of learning by program “Culture and technology of visualization” are development of professional competence in interdisciplinary methodology of studying cultural and technological features of visual communications.
Learning Outcomes
As a result of mastering the discipline student should:
- know about major socio-cultural, methodological and technological features of visual culture;
- know how to apply interdisciplinary approaches for studying visual culture objects and concepts, related to visual culture;
- acquire skills of presentation of theoretical and practical results of visual culture research;
- know how to apply technologies of data visualization according to the specific type of professional tasks and objectives.

Assessment criteria |
The assessment of the presented works is carried out by the following criteria: – compliance of the contents to a subject; – existence of logical communication of stated information; – compliance of registration to requirements; – accuracy and literacy of a statement; – work is handed over in time. |

The composition of final accumulative mark |
Final accumulative mark consists of: completing of practical tasks – 50%, final presentation – 30%, lecture discussion – 20% |
