Main Objectives
- to study the phonetic aspect of the language use;
- to study the consonantal and vowel systems of the English language;
- to study intonation system of the English language;
- to study phonetics norms of English pronunciation and its regional and social accents.

Student’s skills in this subject will be evaluated by means of written and oral tests, semester and final examinations. |

Assessment criteria |
The assessment of the presented works is carried out by the following criteria: – compliance of the contents to a subject; – ability to use the phonetic structures of the language in accordance with the given situation; – compliance of registration to requirements; – accuracy of a language use; – work is handed over in time. |

The composition of final accumulative mark |
Final accumulative mark consists of: tests –40 %, exam – 60 % |
